Determination of Particle Density and Water Absorption

To investigate the presence of surface moisture in aggregates in the test of density determination, relative density (specific gravity) and the absorption of fine aggregates (20 mm and smaller) used an incomplete Cone molded metal with dimensions: 40 mm top internal diameter, 90 mm bottom inner diameter, 75 mm high, minimum thickness of 0.8 mm and a Tamping Rod 340 gr weight and 25 mm diameter of impact surface.
