Hotplates
In laboratories, hotplates are used to heat glass containers or their contents. Some hotplates have a magnetic stirrer to automatically mix liquids inside the dishes. The advantage of hotplates against water baths is because of their low risk. Baths have dangers such as leakage, excessive temperature rise, full evaporation of water and fire.
