Californian Bearing Ratio
C-B-R (California Bearing Ratio) number of soil used for the designing the surface of roads for this purpose soil samples with the desired compaction is prepared in a special mold and then be tested with the machine.
In this test a piston with the standard base level (3 square inches or 35.19 cm) with a standard speed of 27.1 mm per minute to be pressed into the soil the force required to penetrate certain values measured as a percentage compared with the baseline.
The C.B.R device is offered in two models of manual and electric.
- In the manual model a manual jack connected to the frame which is reinforced with a maximum capacity of 30KN that can be used in the laboratory or it is capable to assembling the uploading jack on the main frame of the vehicle and transfer it to the site location.
- In considering of Permanent establishment the electric models in the laboratory to reduce the costs, speed so this device offered with the ability of Marshall Asphalt test.
